6/8 EOY Annual Pack Picnic

🌭 Annual Pack Picnic — June 8 Join Pack 215 for our annual Pack Picnic as we celebrate another great Scouting year and kick off the summer together! 📅 Event Information Date:  Monday, June 8, 2026 Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM Location: Wrightsville Beach Park — Pavilion 2 This is a family-friendly event for all Scouts, siblings, parents, and family members. 🍔 Food & Signups This will be a potluck-style picnic, and we are asking Pack families to help contribute food, drinks, desserts, and supplies. Please use the food signup link  to choose an item to bring. Summer 2026 Pack Outings & Activities

Summer 2026 Pack Outings & Activities While our regular meeting schedule slows down during the summer, Pack 215 will still have several fun outings and activities happening over the next few months! These events are a great opportunity for Scouts and families to stay connected and continue the adventure throughout the summer. Please save the dates below. Additional details, RSVP information, packing lists, and signups will be shared closer to each event. 🏕️ June 26–28 — Lanier Point Campout & Sea Turtle Hospital Visit 🐢 Join us for a summer camping weekend at the Inlet at Lanier Point Campground! During the weekend, the Pack will also visit the Sea Turtle Hospital. Help Shape the 2026–2027 Scouting Year + Volunteer Opportunities As we begin preparing for the 2026–2027 Scouting year, we would love input, ideas, and support from our Pack families! 📅 Pack Planning Meeting Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026 Time: 6:00 PM Location: To Be Announced All Pack parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our annual planning meeting helps shape the upcoming Scouting year by discussing: Pack activities and outings Camping opportunities Advancement and program planning Fundraising ideas Parent involvement Volunteer roles and support needs New ideas families would like to see within the Pack Whether you have been involved with the Pack for years or are newer to Scouting, your feedback and ideas are valuable. 5/3 Trash the Trash Day

Scouts Trash the Trash Day is an international Messengers of Peace project for Scouts around the world, where each Scout is challenged to bring a friend or family member along and pick up at least 2 pounds of trash each on the first Saturday in May.  Scouts Trash the Trash Day is about more than just cleaning our planet, it is a day to show the world what Scouting is about, educate individuals about Scouting and recruit new boys, girls and adults into the Scouting movement.   https://scoutstrashthetrashday.org/ This is the first year that Pack 215 is participating!  When: 2:00pm on Sunday, May 3rd (moved from 5/2 due to inclement weather) Where: Roland-Grise Middle School,  4412 Lake Ave, Wilmington, NC 28403 The pack will supply trash bags and gloves, however families may want to bring their own work gloves instead. 

5/15-17 EOY Trip to Pine Knoll Shores

WHO: All Pack 215 Scouts and families WHAT: End-of-Year Trip to Pine Knoll Shores WHEN: Friday, May 15 - Sunday, May 17, 2026 WHERE:  Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium  and camping at Cedar Point Campground     COST: covers we'll need to cover food costs for the weekend and entrance to the aquarium.  $40pp for camping & aquarium tickets / $25pp for camping & no tickets (NC Aquarium society members) Payments for those attending are due by May 4 via  Square .  RSVP: Please respond on the RSVP document soon as we can decide if we'll need 1 or 2 campsites. 

5/3 Coastal District Pinewood Derby

What : Coastal District Pinewood Derby. Who : All Cub Scouts are welcome to bring their cars and race against others regardless of Pack Race placement. When : Sunday, May 3, 2026 - Check-in is at 1:00pm. Racing will start at 2:00pm with awards immediately following. Where : Jungle Rapids 5320 Oleander Dr in Wilmington Cost : $5 per racer Registration can be done online or in-person at check-in. Cancellations will be allowed online until registration closes (no cancellations after 4/29). A complete list of rules is attached in the "Leader's Guide" which can be downloaded on the registration page.

Camp Cards 2026

Cards and money can be turned in prior to May 4 if you've sold all signed out to you. You can also pick up more cards if you can keep selling! A camp/adventure card is sold for $5.00 and the commission for each one sold is $2.50, which comes to the pack to help with pack event and materials funding. SCOUT & PARENT COMMITMENT TO SELL: Camp Card sales run from March 1 through May 1, 2026. All unsold cards and money are due no later than Monday, May 4. Unsold cards are the responsibility of the Scout and parent to turn in by the due date or they will be added to the Scout’s balance due ($2.50 per card). Unsold cards must be returned in new condition. Broken cards will not be accepted and will be charged to the Scout’s balance due.
